As I suppose must happen in many cities, finding fresh, clean food can be pretty hard. And Mexico is a truly difficult place to find delicious, healthy food that isn't abnormally expensive.
One day, I was scrolling through a list of restaurants that make deliveries for offices and found Básico. I loved the menu right away, with its smoothies and freshly-extracted juices that surely sounded like something I would be preparing myself at home for breakfast.
Básico has a menu that offers juices that combine both fruits and veggies, like my favorite, Sweet Carrotline: a mix of carrot, apple, and lemon. Also, you can find acai bowls, smoothies, overnight oats and another of my favorites: banana muffin without flour. They prepare this awesome muffin with oatmeal flour and dark chocolate chips - a true dream breakfast!
Although I'm more acquainted with the breakfast menu (as I find Básico my perfect breakfast provider) they also have lunch options, such as bowls that combine different veggies, all with a base of either quinoa or chickpea.
My favorite aspect of Básico is the freshness of all the ingredients, they make me feel as happy with the flavors as if I had chosen the ingredients and I think they truly deliver their promise of taking you "back to the basics".
