When I take out people on walking tours with Milan Greeters I always encourage them to take a peak behind open gates: most times you'll find real treasures (and you'll know if you're not wanted by residents!). This applies very well to 10 Corso Como, a must-see and an essential artistic space in the heart of the Moscova district.
When in Corso Como, one of the fanciest walking areas in Milan, you'll see the address clearly marked on top of the gate, but this won't do very much for you if you don't walk in. When you do walk in, though, you'll be simply amazed.
10 Corso Como has an exquisite garden cafè and a sophisticated concept store. On the first floor you'll find a design & art boutique as well as the entrance to Galleria Carla Sozzani, that every year hosts the World Press Photo exhibition, just to name the most famous display. The lovely corridor that separates the bookshop and the gallery is my favorite spot to take a picture of the most surprising thin balconies with climbing plants and flowers, something that takes me back to both Milan's case di ringhiera (check out my article) and the most exquisite Renaissance taste. On top of that, this space hosts a boutique hotel and a gorgeous roof garden.
10 Corso Como is the most charming venue: it is a lively space where art and beauty are available to everyone and, as of late, even a few live events. Go on then, take a peak!
