Via Albertini is a kind of plug that puts in communication Via Canonica with the better known and popular Via Paolo Sarpi, currently a “place to be” in the Milanese nightlife. What makes via Albertini so special for me is exactly this strategic position and its particular nature: “almost but not entirely” could be its motto. Large and comfortable but not dispersed; pedestrian, but very easy to get to; hidden but not private or unknown. Here I have had very specials afternoons, lunches, aperitifs and after-dinner hours with the people I love. An exquisite pizza at Fofò’s dehors under the trees, a super drink at SottoSotto, some tapas at Recreo Bar or just a beer at BeLocale.
This little path is like a little magician’s tool: able to satisfy almost every one of my stomach’s desires at almost any hour of the day and night. I like to get there by walking with my dog, especially on spring and summer days, and then enjoy some time in the open air, feeling like a theatre spectator and watching the Milanese “movida” that runs along this super lively neighborhood.
