If you like animals just like me, then you should visit the Minsk city zoo!
Minsk City Zoo is located in the south-eastern part of Minsk in the floodplain of the Svisloch River. In addition to the classic aviaries, the Minsk Zoo includes a terrarium, a Nemo dolphinarium, an aquarium and an exotarium - the Orinoco pavilion of the South American fauna. The zoo collection includes both exotic animals and rare representatives of the fauna of Belarus.
But as for me, I like to ride horses here most of all! There is a small stable on the zoo grounds where the trainer will teach you horse riding.
The zoo contains about 2,000 animals from more than 400 species. In the warm season, you can stroke domestic sheep and goats on the Vyaskovaya Syadziba contact pad. Of the rare animals, the ocelot is also in the Minsk Zoo - a species that is on the verge of extinction.
In the South American fauna "Orinoco" pavilion, visitors can observe various species of monkeys, tropical birds, predators, huge arapaima fish and dangerous piranhas. Also, visitors can see the capybara, ponder the anacondas, caimans, other unusual reptiles, exotic tree frogs and poisonous frogs. In addition, turtles, porcupines, crocodiles, rare snakes and other animals live in the exotarium. The largest animals of the exotarium are the jaguars.
I would recommend visiting this zoo, especially considering the fact that all animals are kept in really good conditions. :)
