You will be surprised, but it's only a few kilometers from Minsk. This place, the so-called "Minsk Sea", is an artificial lake which was filled up in 1956 - young sea, isn't it?
My favorite way to get there is by cycling. I enjoy slow cycling through the pine forest, then turning at the water, a short ride between beaches and the fantastic sunset!
Also during the summer, it's cool to go there with friends for a picnic: it's also quite easy to go there by public transport -- to take pictures, rent a boat or just enjoy some time out of the city.
But it's not only a summer place! During winter, you can find there partially frozen water, plenty of ducks and even swans! Now it's time to learn how to feed birds without harming their health, but that's absolutely another story...
I like going there to clear my mind and slow down the speed of city life speed, and there is everything I need for that: nature, fresh air, water, the forest.
I warmly invite you to join in these walks!
