This district won over my heart at first sight. This place does is not officially part of Minsk and doesn't even look like Minsk in general. For me, being here fees like I'm travelling somewhere abroad in Europe.
I like living in New Bor, because everything here is super convenient, cozy and modern. There are cozy bakeries, coffee & wine places in the basement of houses. There are no skyscrapers, and there's a lower concentration of people. You can know your neighbours and have some kind of community. Most local communities are based on interests, for example, sports: there are organised public trainings, where people can meet each other and have workouts together.
Another thing I like about this district is that it's very pet, especially dog-friendly. It's not really everywhere in Minsk you can enter a cafe or a shop with your pet. Here, it's easy to have a dog, cause there is infrastructure for walking and training the dog.
And in general it feels very good to simply walk here and enjoy the atmosphere of a newly built district.
