I have a thing for pampering, maybe you already understood this. For body care, Espace Nomad is one of my favorite places in town.
Firstly because the place is charming, warm and peaceful. Secondly, because the staff is attentive, professional, and just as charming.
It offers a variety of massages (Thai yoga, hot stones, Swedish, Californian, four hands, sports, etc.), organic facial care, exotic manicures and pedicures (everything is organic, vegan and 100% natural), soft and natural waxing and spa packages such as Indonesian Beauty, which includes a one-hour massage (your choice), a Javanese coffee body scrub, and a Juara Indonesian facial. I tried it and I LOVED it!
Without forgetting specific care for men, i.e. various massages and facials. Also, Espace Nomad offers several exciting products to take back home.
My next visit: craniosacral massage aka the head massage. Can't wait!
Good to know: it is possible to book online and answers are fast. Keep an eye on promotions, they are worth it!

The cannoli! A crisp shell that shatters a bit as you bite into it, first-class ricotta cheese. Not too sweet. Somehow light and filling at the same time.

Caffe Italia has been popular with Italian families for decades & it never lost the homey feeling. The coffee is delicious. The vibe is welcoming and loud.

Jean Talon market is the kind of place where there is a vast choice, but I'd bet that most regulars end up with their favorite sellers.

The exhibits are free to the public, and very well curated by Isabelle de Mévieus and her team. The converted post office is worth a visit on its own.

Somehow in the race to make everything chain stores Duluth has remained pretty much a family-run affair, skewed towards the hippy/punk end of the spectrum.

I was quite smitten with the gnocchi at Restaurant Marconi, not least because a portion of the price of the meal is shared with those in need around town.
