One more art gallery; if you know me, you know how I love to explore this kind of spaces. In all the cities I have lived or visit, I’m always looking for the next art gallery whose door I haven't yet opened. By experience, I know that once I find one, there's a great chance there will be more located around it. I call it the art gallery nest or hive phenomenon.
The Gallery Art Mur is not part of a nest as the Belgo building can be, even so I knew of its existence for long, it took a few reminders of exhibitions for me to come and visit it. It seems far away but it's actually super close to the subway station Rosemont, so there's no excuse not to go.
It’s a fairly big art gallery. There are three levels: usually the ground and 1st floors are for the temporary installations and the rest is to exhibit the gallery's catalog. I like that the collection is very diverse and that they show sculptures with enough space to walk and look around.
Jean Talon market is the kind of place where there is a vast choice, but I'd bet that most regulars end up with their favorite sellers.
