This little Tex-Mex restaurant nestled in a residential area of the Plateau Mont-Royal opened its doors in the winter of 2011. This room gave us all kinds of restaurants over the years, but they never stayed very long. This one appears quite different to me.
First, by the original cuisine it offers: the amount of reinvented tacos! My favorite is the fried chicken, Oh yes! Two chubby tacos topped with cabbage, tomato, cheese and fried chicken, the mouthful is tasty. As a starter, I always hesitate between popcorn shrimps with lime or jalapeños topped with cheese in a creamy shallot sauce.
Next time I'll try the lobster roll, or the oysters, or the ribs, or the crab cakes and so on... With a michelada or the bourbon house lemonade.
The place is small, all wood, totally relaxed, often very crowded. In summer we enjoy the opening of the large garage door that leads onto the terrace.
Very nice even if we find ourselves inevitably with dirty hands up to the elbows!
