Kahwa Café Montreal – Artsy Tunisia

"Kahwa Café" Montreal is one of my favorite places for coffee or tea. There's often a new exhibition and it's a great place to work with the free wi-fi...

This place changes its look regularly and we like it! However, the basis remains: the front counter in barn wood, the hardwood furniture, the wooden apple crates serving as shelves on the wall. It's warm, needless to say!

Anis, the charming Tunisian owner constantly adds new products to eat. Plenty of sandwiches made every day, soup of the day, couscous and a variety of pastries and sweet desserts such as baklava. The place smells like good food! All at very friendly prices!

Regularly a new exhibition covers the walls of the café, the place is often packed with students who spend hours working on their computer enjoying the Wi-Fi, drinking coffees and teas. They also started doing some music jam sessions. There is plenty of choice and carefully selected to offer only the best quality.

Anis loves people and we feel it, we are well welcomed in his place. Go ahead, you'll see!

*You can't miss it, it's the bright yellow storefront!

Léché Desserts – Sweet spot

"Léché Desserts" in Montreal hides many promises behind its pink benches and brick building! I recommend getting donuts here and going to watch the trains.

Les Affamés – Brunch bistro

"Les Affamés" Montreal is a bistro that's not often found in guidebooks but is popular with locals for weekend brunch. Perfectly French/Belgian-inspired!

Segal's – Shop like a local

Segal's is one of the few true remnants of the Main's edgier, immigrant past. In front it simply says "Epicerie depuis 1927" (grocery store since 1927).

Theatre Fairmount – Spaceship with music

It's quite interesting because it's all in length, with a stage in the middle to the right & a bar on the left side stretched on almost half of the space.

"Source Sculpture" is a piece of public art given to Montreal in Sep. 2017. It looks like a human head, but go inside it & it's true nature becomes clear.

Saint Sushi Bar – Wanna eat some Marvin Gaye sushi?

"Saint Sushi Bar" in Montreal is not a traditional Japanese sushi restaurant - rather, its focus is on playful, hiphop, 'gangsta' reinterpretations.
