Simple, good things make me happy. It makes me want to take my bicycle and travel back and forth for a longer time than for what it usually takes me to actually enjoy those things. I’m talking about bagels, and more specifically St-Viateur Bagel and their address in Outremont, an institution here in Montreal that produces fresh bagels seven days a week, 24 hours a day - yes it’s possible, you have understood me. It takes me less time to eat them than going to buy them but I like repeating myself.
Over the years, since 1957, St-Viateur Bagel has been opening bakeries and coffee places and owns a food truck to give a chance to more people in Montreal and around to taste their products. So check their website and addresses as there may be a shop around your corner. So far I've tried their flagship bakery store in Outremont and have had brunch at their cafés in Monkland. Something tells me I’m not going to be over with them soon, but sometimes I give a chance to their competitors also name Fairmount bagel.
"Léché Desserts" in Montreal hides many promises behind its pink benches and brick building! I recommend getting donuts here and going to watch the trains.
