In my opinion, hedgehogs are the cutest little animals in the world. Prickly on the outside, they are soft and hairy below (and totally cute inside!) Ejeminutka cafe in Moscow is home to twelve African pygmy hedgies, and you can spend some time playing with them. The staff will guide you through all the "DOs" and "DON'T"s and how to handle them best.
Some hedgies, like Sonya (for "Sleepy"), Masya (my loved one) and Eva, are very friendly and curious, some others require a little more time and patience until they get used to your smell and turn out from a sniffing ball of needles to the most curious pet.
In the evening (about 10-10:30PM, and if you have spent at least one hour there), if you are lucky enough, you can catch their feeding time and ask the staff to feed a hedgehog yourself.
There is a table for free self-service tea/coffee/cookies.
