Tucked in the corner of the Artplay cluster, this place can be a little bit tricky to find, but it’s worth the effort, I promise! Look for the tiny, brightly-painted building. Once you find it, dive in, and you’ll be presented with a nice choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes: soups, smoothies, salads, cakes... I’m not vegetarian, but I frequent this place because of the good, honest food, really nice and friendly staff, and the great vibe.
Their lunch combo changes daily; however, there are some dishes that are always on offer, and thankfully their falafel wrap (now also available in a pita pocket) is one of the permanent options. Delicious, fresh and filling, it’s definitely one of the best in town, if not the best. In fact, it’s so good that whenever I’m within a 20 minutes’ walk of this place, I make a detour to get the falafel!
Some time ago, they installed a greenhouse on top of the building to grow their own herbs and spices. But the greenhouse definitely isn’t the only place worth a visit there. The whole Artplay cluster is a joy to explore, with its showrooms, cafes, shops, occasional markets and exhibitions – so go for it while you are there. And if you get hungry, you know where to come back.
