It is windy each time I come here. But never mind. I like this absurd place. A very expensive building complex was erected here, right under the sightseeing platform and beside the third ring road. Half of it is occupied with inhabitants and it looks ridiculous in the surrounding of empty beer bottles. I guess night tourists like to mess around in this paradise without security and cameras...
There is a cozy square with benches and lanterns in front of the Academy (on the photo). And a great wall with renewed graffiti pictures on it below.
I adore the views from this point. It doesn't matter if it is snowing or windy. I only don't like rain; any other weather type is welcomed.
If it is cloud-free and smog-free I usually see faraway Moscow City and Luzhniki on the other side of Moscow River and the very closeby Donskoy fratry. What is also located nearby is Sky Lounge restaurant. It is right in the building of the Russian Academy of Sciences Presidium and according to my friend it is one of the best Moscow panoramic views from there. That will be my next goal.
