Here is your manual on what to do on Sunday. Requirements: you have to be bored and the weather has to be bad. Make an appointment with one of your best friends. Put on clothes. Take the Metro to Schwanthalerhöhe or go to Parkstraße 2 with your Vespa (depending on the weather) to Ladencafé Marais.
Stay inside, 'cause the weather is still bad, and hope that someone is getting up, because it's really crowded and all the seats are occupied. One way to get a seat is to buy it. Because all the furniture inside can be purchased. Afterwards you can say to someone sitting on your chair, which you bought five minutes ago, that they have to get up. But of course that's not polite and the other problem is, where will your friend take a seat? So be patient and wait until someones gets up. It only takes about five minutes.
My conclusion: Order coffee or one of those delicious paninis, e.g. with Scarmoza, mushroom paste and ham. Sunday is saved. Now look outside (do this behind the display window), order another coffee and be happy as long as you want.
"Zum Kloster" to me looks like what a typical Munich restaurant would look like in the '40s. Although it is a proper restaurant, it feels like a gastropub.

"Bookshop at the Gasteig" in Munich is a very classic bookshop. I love its design - it's warm, cosy and has little nooks. You can really go exploring here!

"Maria" in Munich is a great, unpretentious café/restaurant I love to visit for lunch or dinner. You can spend a day there feeling you are looked after...

"City KINOS" is a cinema in Munich even I didn't know about for a long time! I love the patio in front, but the best is its older cinema style!

"Trattoria Da Paolo" is a typical Italian restaurant in Munich, but real typical is not what you might expect... The owner is funny and the food excellent!

"Bar Centrale" proves the saying that Munich is Italy's northernmost city. I do believe it's impossible to get more Italian outside Italy than this.

"Loretta bar" Munich is a great café for two reasons: one - it opens really early. Two - they serve "two eggs in a glass"! Look it up!
