Baklava: a rich Middle-Eastern dessert made of thin layers of flaky pastry, usually filled with nuts and honey.
Usually, it's the Turks that make this dish the most traditional way, but thanks to history, we have inherited many of their specialties. Every granny ever would make this sweet for her grandchildren, so for us coming here is a throwback to childhood, as is the smell of the kitchen! They have hit exactly at the core with this creative idea and taste.
On the other hand, they radiate innovative solutions and offer this treat prepared in 15 different ways. The most popular one lately is a combination of pistachios and chocolate which is also my favourite.
The place is cozy and quiet - too quiet for my taste, but still a cute place to grab dessert.
The other huge benefit is absolutely the prices. One piece costs usually less than 1 euro. It might seem small but it's very filling!
