Itaka Library bar Podgorica – Good music and cool cocktails

This place is relatively new, having opened in what used to be an old Turkish bath. The best part is that it is on the river shore, providing the bar with a great terrace. The space outside is rather big, so there is no cramped feeling that you might get if you go to one of the bars in the city center.

They have good cocktails and craft beer (which is not that common for places in Podgorica). Sometimes they host local jazz bands (check their socials), and the music by their DJ is always really nice. Their outside area is perfect both during the day and night because you can chill overlooking the river while having a coffee or a beer. It's really one of the places that give you a comfortable feeling, warm and sunny winter days, as well as cool summer evenings, are the perfect time to visit this place. Also, it is located under the bridge, so it might not be the easiest place to find, but once you see the stairs - you are there.

It has quickly become one of the city's favorites and for a reason. The atmosphere is always relaxed, and it's pet-friendly. If all of the seats are taken, just take your drink to go and sit on one of the benches closer to the river. Also, make sure you stop by the bookstore Karver, which is just around the corner.
