This is one of my favorite eating and drinking places in Podgorica and at the same time it's a place I take all of my foreign friends so that they can experience traditional food and traditional hospitality. If you want to try traditional food, this is the best place. You can get traditional meat dishes and cooked meals for very affordable prices. However, if you are a vegetarian, this may not be the best place, but you will not stay hungry, because there are basic potato and vegetable dishes.
This is one of few places where there are still old school waiters dressed in professional clothes with white shirts and cloth in their hands. There are two parts of this restaurant. If you want to go to the more crowded one, with maybe not so clean tablecloths and which are more for drinking (but where you can also eat), you should go right. If you want to go to the more "formal on" and less crowded area, go left.
However, the garden outside under the trees is absolutely the best for summer nights. Younger people often come here as a "pre-drinking" place, since a bottle of wine can be found for 5€. My friends and I usually order a few bottles of wine, some homemade cheese, olives, tomatoes, homemade bread and French fries and we stay here for a couple of hours before heading somewhere else.
