Just a 10-minute walk from the main street Korzo, this beautiful bar is located at the very beginning of the breakwater, which is famous by its name MoloLongo. Here you can safely walk to the very end and enjoy the Rijeka from another perspective.
After walking by the breakwater, chill yourself with an orange juice, heat up with tea or lift up with a coffee and enjoy the view of the city. If you are cold, Corto Maltese is beautifully decorated and you can enjoy its interior. Definitely sit down and listen to the glimmer of people who recount the events with the cup of their favorite drink with the view on Rijeka city from the sea.
I would recommend sitting at this cafe any day, but Saturday morning is my favourite, because a lot of people come from the market after they have bought their fresh fruit and vegetables, but they also organise live music on Friday nights if you want to have some fun afterwards.
