Stop Rijeka

A place you have to stop at

""Stop" in Rijeka is one of my favorite bars in the city. I like it for the cheaper drinks and as a place to go before hitting a club. They accept cards."

Stop: like the name of this bar says itself, you just have to stop here for a drink, during the day for a coffee or for a night out. The modern design and young, nice and helpful waiters are two of many reasons you can't miss this bar.

On Tuesday, Friday and Saturday you will always find a thematic party at Stop. Tuesday is always a night for students and cheap drinks. Stop is one of four bars participating in the student party concept "Đir po Starom gradu" or something like "Tour of the Old town of Rijeka". On Friday, you can find live music in Stop and on Saturday you can listen to and learn some Croatian hits. Usually, some drinks are on discount, but that always changes.

I like going to Stop because of the cheaper but still good drinks and the dance music. Stop is not open till early morning, so you should really just stop before going to another bar or club. One very important thing to say, because it is not usual in other bars, is that you can pay for a drink by card. I think it is also one of the main reasons I like this bar, and maybe the reason why you will like it, too.
