A cozy, historic, 100% Petersburg style with a big umbrella yard surrounded by interesting places to eat and shop right in the Dostoevsky quarter… Add to that a free entrance to the small but safe roof to enjoy the view of the city center!
I adore this place – it’s always a difficult choice between whether to eat a pizza in Oversize pizza club or set of syrniki (Russian curd made balls) in Stim. The syrniki are really the best I have ever tried, even better than my mum’s. And the variety is amazing – I am a fan of Bridget Jones with apples, cinnamon and caramel. If it sounds not too healthy, try something from the fitness menu.
Alternatively, take a walk around the Dostoevsky quarter along Kaznacheiskaya street where he lived and wrote “Crime and Punishment” to Raskolnikov’s house on Grazhdanskaya street 19 and along Griboedova channel to the old lady’s house on Griboedova nab.104
