In my opinion, “Park Giuseppe” is definitely the best place for a romantic dinner out in the very heart of St. Petersburg. Located in a nice rose mansion close to both the Savior on the Blood Cathedral as well as Mikhaylovsky garden it is very easy to find.
I enjoy the glass terrace with a view over Moika embankment during the day, but I prefer sitting in the mansard upstairs with the breathtaking view over Savior on the Blood Cathedral through the large windows. It is bright and full of daylight (especially if you are lucky and the sun is shining) and mysterious at night.
This is the place where both your eyes and stomach are in heaven. The food is delicious, there is a big variety of starters (do not miss the salmon carpaccio), main dishes, pizzas (even a fruit one!), pastas and desserts (their tiramisu is a must). The pizza is baked in a real oven by professional pizzaiolos and the wine card is extensive enough to perfectly accompany the food. There is also a small Russian menu, as well as a seasonal one.
