Eden on Earth
The Botanic Garden is like a small Eden on Earth, specially designed to lift your spirit and calm your mind.
It is one of those city spots that one must experience.
I have been a regular since elementary school, since the first time I stepped into it.
It grows over 1,700 sorts of plants and during springtime it is magical. The scenery and the smell of all the flowers bring out the positive within.
The central fountain gives a special touch.
You can just sit and rest, have a walk, analyze different plants or try to break codes on the tombstones, but whatever you do, it will surely make you want to stay long.
Nowadays, some even choose this spot for their wedding, and it is not rare that some cultural events are organised here.
Next to the National Museum's core display of national and historical values, this garden is something you should not miss.
