The first thoughts that come to my mind when I think about Klopa is cozy and colorful surrounding, tasty food and a relaxed atmosphere. The name itself is Bosnian slang for food.

Located in a passage of the best-known street in Sarajevo, Ferhadija, Klopa always seems like a good idea. I often come here for a late breakfast or lunch and so far they have never disappointed me.

Their menu is varied and besides regular dishes, you also get to choose something from a daily offer. Two or three kinds of soup and at least two main dishes are what they have to offer on a daily basis that differs from the rest of the menu. I tend to stick to one kind of meal that I find the best in every restaurant I visit on a regular basis, but in Klopa it’s a little harder to do that because they always make something new and delicious. Some of their regular dishes I warmly recommend are the chicken burger, meals with lamb and steak too.

One thing I always write about in my articles is the staff; here you will find the best – they are cheerful and polite and always trying to leave you satisfied with your order and whole atmosphere. The prices are fair for the quality and the quantity, and also the service.

To make sure that you never get tired of Klopa, once-twice a month one of the best chefs in Sarajevo take over Klopa’s kitchen.
