One of the things that helps everyone while visiting foreign cities is information on where the markets are that work all night and at the same time offer a rich assortment of products. This time I'll introduce you to Šamon shop & market. If you want to buy some kind of beverage, this is your place of choice.
It's located at the beginning of Kranjčevićeva street (if you're coming from the center) and maybe at first you won't even notice the entrance. I remember the first time I looked for this place, it took me 15 min to finally realise that behind the metal bars isn't some kind of basement and it is actually the way in.
Inside it looks like storage, there is not much order, and it may take you a while to find the exact thing you're looking for, but the offer is really stunning in comparison to other shops in Sarajevo. And it ranges from different kinds of local and international beers, some really tasty selections of red and white wine, to strong liquors from all over the world.
I find it useful to mention that this shop works all night, even on holidays like New Year's Eve. Bad thing though is that it can get really crowded, and the line can literally run all the way to the door. I suggest you look around while waiting, you might have easily missed something you really need.
