Hall of halls
If you like music and sports there is a place, a hall that is irreplaceable, a synonym of all happenings of this kind in Sarajevo.
All big concerts and sports events take place just here at Skenderija Sports Hall. This whole complex has various roles. It is a shopping mall, a concert hall, it's different sports training centers for sports clubs, and a famous basketball hall.
With all that said, I simply cannot count the times I have been in this hall in my life, so I find it's pretty close to my heart.
The concerts and big basketball matches are held in the biggest hall within, named after the greatest basketball player of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirza Delibašić (Grand Hall) and the small ones, like the local league games, are played in the Mirza Delibašić Small Hall.
If you're a lucky (and crazy) fan of basketball, you can follow the trainings of the young basketball players like the ones who won the gold medal in the European EuroBasket U16 Championship in 2015.
It's the biggest success of our youth team ever. They may have been born in 1999 but they sure are taller than I'll ever be :- ) And their once-coach is the photographer of this picture :-)!
