The Corner is a rooftop bar located in Lozenets area in Sofia. It is located at the corner of Vaptsarov boulevard, very close to the US embassy. It takes up the whole top floor of a modern building and has a nice summer terrace around the bar. The summer terrace allows for a great view of parts of Sofia and Vitosha mountain, which are spectacular at night.
The bar features live music, cocktails, alcoholic drinks, food and desserts. The interior is modern, styled with nice finishing elements. The seating area is a bit overcrowded, but if you don't mind sitting close to the neighbouring table - it's not a problem.
The Corner offers a wide range of cocktails, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. The food range is also quite extensive, ranging from fish dishes, through to chicken wings and sandwiches. I have tried the no name sandwich, which is not bad, but nothing really impressive. The chocolate tart is quite nice and well... chocolaty :).
The place is a good location for a date, as it tends to be quite romantic, but don't forget to make a reservation in advance as it is quite busy especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
