There is baroque magic everywhere you look in this cafe. It could be the typical cafeteria/bar, but it is not. From the floor to the ceiling, everything has a unique touch that is so photogenic. Painted walls, sculptures, long red curtains, lamps and even oranges are part of its elegant decoration. Moreover, the name has some cool references to medieval books and myths regarding the god Kronos. How cool is that?
All kinds of drinks, cocktails and coffees are offered here, but I recommend you try their version of “Agua de Valencia”. It is a cocktail made with orange juice, vodka, gin and bubbly champagne or cava, which is very popular in the city, as the name already indicates. But the recipe can be altered, and Café de Las Horas has its own version, so give it a try.
In this place, it is essential to sit inside, even if you have to wait in line for a few moments. There is a terrace outside, but remember, the magic happens between its walls, as you can see from the picture in this post. They have poetry readings and other literary/artistic activities that you can check out on their website. I love that your visit for a cocktail coexists with some kind of a theatrical experience in Café De Las Horas, which is so beautiful and unique that you must visit for sure.
