"Hakasen Leipomo" in Tampere is a local bakery that sells uncommon pastries - it's the perfect place to try peremec, or 'pärämätsi',' and other delicacies.

"Mallas²" in Tampere is a down-to-earth pub that offers anything you can ask from one. To me, it's a sacred relic from back when I was an exchange student.

"Fujimi" must be the best Japanese restaurant in Tampere. A Japanese friend brought me here raving once and compared the food to his mother's cooking!

"Kaijakka" is THE place in Tampere where the locals gather, have a few drinks and sing their hearts out on the karaoke stage, in front of everyone!

"Ravintola Mazin" in Tampere is a small Mediterranean restaurant outside the city center. I always sit by the window with the nice view of Sammonkatu....

"Café Europa" in Tampere is a proper lounge to hang out at if you want to spend some time sitting by yourself, enjoying the Central European lounge decor.

Kellariravintola "Vanha Monttu" in Tampere is and old-fashioned restaurant and pub hidden in a cellar; I think it's one of the city's most informal pubs!

"Bloom" is a non-profit that aims to connect internationals in Tampere w/ each other & with Finnish locals in order to make them thrive together!

"Puolenkuun Pelit" in Tampere is a large store that caters to all your geeky needs! I've been visiting it since back when I collected Yu-Gi-Oh! cards...

"Lielahden Kirjasto", or the library in Lielahti, is definitely one of my favorite spots in Tampere. And you can fully enjoy it, too...
