If you ask me, Viinikka park is definitely one of the most beautiful parks in Tampere. It is not far away from the city centre and you can easily access the park by bus or bike. Viinikka park is full of basswood trees, which are beautiful all year round. Of course, in the wintertime they don't have leaves, but it doesn't matter. Straight lines of trees are mesmerizing in wintertime, too.
In the spring (around May), leaves start to grow from the trees and in June and July they are fully grown. The park is amazing in the autumn, too. You can go for a walk there, run or bike. There are some benches where you can sit, read or just breathe and enjoy the view.
Also, in the summertime sometimes there are flea markets in the park, always on a Sunday. So if you are visiting Tampere in August, go check out if there is a flea market arranges by the locals!
