The tiniest but coziest pub
Kaipo from Tampere
Huurupiilo is an incredibly tiny neighborhood pub but which has a very warm atmosphere! It is a bit hard to find in the maze-like streets of the Kaleva neighborhood, but it's definitely worth it, whether you're going there alone or with a small group of people. If you want to avoid the busy city center and overcrowded pubs on the main streets, I recommend going here for a true, local experience.
I was there for the first time with a group of other internationals and I had a great time! I was surprised to find out the large assortment of beers offered at such a tiny place. It's perfect for beer aficionados who are not afraid to try something new! And of course, Huurupiilo offers more than just beer, so there's something for everyone!
Huurupiilo is currently undergoing a change of ownership, so change might be coming really soon. I recommend checking their Facebook page regularly for the most recent updates.
