Every major city across the continent seems to have a geek scene, be it comics, (retro) video games, trading card games, tabletop RPGs, you name it. Tampere is no stranger to those, as it has Puolenkuun Pelit, or HalfMoon Games in English, a large store that caters to all of your geeky needs!

Puolenkuun Pelit offers something for everyone, even if it's not for yourself, but rather a gift for someone else. The English-speaking staff is always more than happy to help you find what you're looking for. And even if the item you want is out of stock, they can always back-order it and send it to your home address in Finland or abroad!

I have visited Puolenkuun Pelit quite a few times back when I was still collecting Yu-Gi-Oh! trading cards. But nowadays, I usually visit to check out the large assortment of DVDs in the back, the Harry Potter merchandise in the front, books, manga and various video game props and merchandise spread throughout the store.
