When visiting Tampere, it is really nice to buy something local, don't you think? In Koivistonkylä there is a factory outlet that sells socks, beanies and sweatshirts for adults and kids. There is a really nice story behind this factory: it was established in the year 1945 and it has always been in Tampere. The CEO is now Janne Tamminen, who is already the fourth generation leading this company! So it has always been a family company and all the socks are made in Tampere.
In Koivistonkylä you can feel the breeze of history and see products in the factory outlet. There are wonderful souvenirs, which are also sustainable and local. What would you say e.g. about running socks with the text "Tampere" or socks that say "Call it magic?"
Reaching Koivistonkylä is really is, there is a bus stop right next to the factory outlet and it is not too far from the city centre. You can also come by bike! Don't miss this local factory with a wonderful history!
