The name "Eco Park" is a little misleading. it does not refer to environmental practices, rather, it signifies that the park is oriented toward nature and health. And indeed, it is one of Tashkent's few parks that have no amusement park rides. Instead, you may walk among the well-cared-for trees, enjoy a picnic in a special area, rent a bike, watch your child have fun in a multi-tiered playground, or sip coffee and have a bite to eat in the restaurant located on the grounds, La Cantine.
Located in the center of town and right next to the well-off neighborhood of Ц-1 (pronounced "tse-odin"), it is a popular place among families and teenagers. Sometimes, larger events such as festivals or sports competitions are hosted here. A local arts events organizing group called Exponaut also organizes events such as open-air film screenings in the summer. These events may require tickets or payment upon entry.
Please note that Eco Park has two entrances - one on Taraqqiyot street, and one on Khamid Alimdjan street, on a smaller road. Both have some parking.
