La Casa The Hague
Giftshop done right
There’s a new gift shop in town and I can already tell it’s going to be a favourite! As ‘La Casa’ has just opened their doors, I discovered this shop only recently. This gift shop is just the thing the Reinkenstraat needed and offers lifestyle and interior design items. The doormat outside with ‘Mi casa es su casa’ on it is too inviting just to pass by and will make you want to pop in right away.
The first impression of the shop immediately triggered my interior design craziness, which is a good thing for them but perhaps not so much for my wallet. I love the wide array of items they carry, such as postcards, soaps, kitchen supplies, coffee table books, candles and other cute knickknacks. They also have a separate (extremely adorably decorated) room with items for kids.
My verdict is that they are doing a great job as a gift shop, it makes me want to buy every item as a gift to myself instead of for others.
