West Bar Tirana
My international spot
The West Bar at the Twin Towers makes me feel the real spirit of Tirana. Located at the Twin Towers, almost in front of the Pyramid, looking at the Taiwan complex, aside the Blloku area, the West Bar to me is the perfect and most special spot in Tirana.
Having a look at everything and having a cheap beer is all I need, because the chance to see everything makes me leave my problems behind. The location of the West Bar makes me think of being in all these places in Tirana and at the same time somewhere else totally different, maybe abroad.
Its location on the crossroads makes me think a lot and all my thoughts go from Tirana, to my coffee or beer and to myself. Different thoughts that make me question myself, my city and my life. People, busses, cars and bicycles that come and go make me think of how life goes up and down, how it runs fast and how it goes slowly at the same time and how it changes disproportionately and sometimes proportional to the time.
