El Cafetín is an eclectic and old-fashioned cocktail bar located in the heart of Valencia's old town. Inaugurated in 1980, El Cafetín has been a beloved spot for locals and tourists alike for decades.

Upon entry, you're greeted with an interior reminiscent of the 1930s and 40s. The space is small but cosy, featuring a jazz piano that customers are welcome to play. In the warmer months, you can sit at one of the tables on the terrace, but they tend to fill up quickly.

It's a great place to grab a drink with a few friends, offering wine, beer, coffee, and a long list of cocktails. I like to keep it simple with a glass of white wine and a side of potato chips. El Cafetín is also known for its excellent service: the employees are kind and friendly and make you feel right at home.
