A culinary reference for Valencians and lovers of good food, Rausell is a gastronomic space with three different areas: a takeaway place, a bar and a restaurant. The Rausell family has run this establishment since 1948. They are now in their third generation with the brothers José and Miguel, leading a team of professionals who know how to pamper the rich Valencian culinary tradition.
The takeaway area allows you to bring the Rausell experience directly to your home. Its bar is the heart, a place in full swing, an informal meeting point ideal for having a beer or a glass of wine with friends and tasting some tapas. The restaurant is a more intimate and relaxed space for special occasions or simply treating yourself to an exceptional meal. The experience at Rausell is a journey between sea and land: pulpo a la gallega (Galician-style octopus), oysters, fried fish, grilled squid, Iberian ham, grilled vegetables, roasted lamb shoulder or its traditional patatas bravas, one of the best in the city, which I really recommend. And, of course, rice dishes such as arroz meloso (creamy rice) with seafood and clams or the more traditional ones such as paella or arroz al horno (cooked in the oven).
Going to Rausell is a gastronomic trip that will not leave you indifferent!
