Every time I come to this bar, I feel like I'm entering a vintage movie set. The tables, floors, and windows all give an old-fashioned vibe that I haven't seen anywhere else.
Come to Gontier for everything you might need in a day: breakfast, lunch, a snack or just a drink or two. The menu includes mostly tapas and appetizers, but the options are very good. You can tell food is selected and prepared with care. If you are a cheese lover, this is your place for sure. Here, you have quality food at affordable prices in a very charming place, which are three things that do not always come together in this neighbourhood. Also, the kitchen is open all day long until midnight.
Gontier is located in one of my favourite streets, Calle Pau, and this is what you should do to properly enjoy the ambience: sit facing Calle Pau and stay there while "people watching" it's relaxed yet quite interesting at the same time.
