Have you been to a cafeteria and a yogurteria? Probably you also visited a panaderia while in Valencia, but what about a freseria (e.g. strawberry cafe in English)? I was astonished it exists here. The technology is the same as with the yoghurt or ice cream - you can choose a cup of strawberry, either small or large, then the sauce from a wide variety - from pistachio to chocolate and a topping - M&Ms, nuts, crunches and... here you go. The strawberry can be "regular red" or white - yes, surprise-surprise, there is such a kind. My choice was white strawberry with pistachio sauce and pistachios. It was very nice, with a white and green aesthetic, tender but very sweet. Next time I will definitely ask for less sauce. But it is a good and interesting alternative to a usual sweet snack, so I highly recommend you try it.
Currently, there is only one location in Russafa district, and the spot does not have places to sit, but you can enjoy the dessert on nearby benches.
