I enjoy food courts. I always try to visit at least one in my home city and everywhere I travel. I like their special vibes and the feeling that you are kind of making a trip around the world. Therefore, I am happy I found one in Valencia as well.
Mercabañal is not a big place, but it's cozy and located very close to El Cabañal Beach. They offer seven varieties of international fast food — Chinese baos, Thai food, Italian pizza, American Burgers and Spanish croquettes, tapas and bocadillos. Mercabañal mainly consists of sea containers on two floors. It is said that the terrace upstairs provides enjoyable sunsets. I have only been there during lunchtime so far, so I cannot yet judge, but I will during my next visit.
The staff is friendly and speaks good English. Aperol and Trufano pizza are my favorites here, as they are quick, delicious, and inexpensive. I am already looking forward to my next journey around the world there!
