Valencia is famous for its street art. You will see it everywhere - at the medieval squares in El Carmen district in the city centre or at the narrow streets of El Cabañal at the beach. My favorite mural is at Plaza la Botxa. It is one of the biggest and definitely one of the most impressive stretch art examples in Valencia.
It was created by several artists during the Intramuros festival - PichiAvo, Deih, Julieta - just Google them to identify their unique style. The mural has already been there for a decade - the festival was held in 2014 - quite a long life for a rapidly changing street art. Probably it happened due to the the idea of the festival - to revitalize the zone of Plaza la Botxa. The theme of the mural relates to the history of the neighbourhood - farming, gardening and the silk industry.
Try to find all the elements on the mural! Start with the mural by PichiAvo "Bacchus education" (Ancient Greek God of Wine). It represents the agriculture that was present in the area and something that will exist in the future but is shaped differently as urban gardens. An example of such an urban garden is just in front of the mural.
It's normally open for the primary school students of the neighborhood school to learn about plants, fruits and vegetables and also for the people with mental disabilities to support their health. But everyone can enjoy the garden from the outside. And... there are other murals behind.
