33 Acres Brewery is one the newest and hippest breweries in town. I learned about this brewery from a vegan friend of mine; my vegan friends always seem to know the hippest stuff around town.
The brewery has a very modern environment. Their bottled beer is all in white cases and white-labelled bottles, making them look really hip. The beer is also very tasty and sitting inside their modern brewpub makes is even tastier.
They have really good names for their beers, 33 Acres of Nirvana (Pale Ale) being my favourite.
It is a very tiny place, so a word of caution: it might get really busy, especially during the evenings. The food options are not that great, but there are always food trucks parked outside.
This place is located just a 2-stop sky train ride from downtown. It'd probably take 15 - 20 minutes from downtown.
So, the beer here is very good and the hip atmosphere is even better. Have a 33 Acres of Nirvana in the hippest brewery of Vancouver!
