This collaboration between a popular coffee roaster chain and a doughnut specialty brand caught my attention for several strong reasons. First, the location and ambiance are fantastic — Main Street is an appealing destination with its cozy neighborhoods and numerous small businesses.
The cafe is spacious and has lots of wood, those big communal tables and a shady terrace. Second is coffee: you will get your velvety, tasteful espresso with rich cremá here, but more interesting are bottled cold brew and cascara, a coffee bean skin refreshing and fruity drink with an extremely low caffeine amount in it.
Now, doughnuts. I cannot say it is my thing — I am not a fan of glazing and sweetness of this kind. BUT. A savory scone is hiding in the shadow of all these doughnuts, and it is definitely a treat to try: it has a nice balanced and filling taste of tender, buttery dough and big pieces of veggies. Try it!
