""Butter Baked Goods" is not the most centrally located bakery in Vancouver, but it's sought after by many locals for its big fat slices of cake & cookies."

This bakery is a favourite among locals for its rich and delicious baked goods. While it’s not the most centrally located, the sweets and treats at Butter are sought after by many Vancouverites, so much so that they created a cookbook you can buy online. Butter is hidden away from the main streets but worth the visit whether you’re wanting to grab something to go or stay awhile and indulge your sweet tooth. If you choose to say, there’s plenty of indoor tables to sit at while you enjoy a big fat slice of cake. The best part about the whole place is that you can smell the freshly baked goods as soon as you walk in. From cake pops to cookies and actual cakes, there’s something for everyone.

The neighbourhood surrounding Butter is gorgeous year-round, so naturally you’ll want to wander outside and burn off some of those sweets when you’re done. You certainly won’t want to miss out on this Vancouver treasure while you’re in town.

Benches to sit on and watered plants show that Fun Alley was designed as a place for people to hang out, not just a place to glance at and keep going.
