If you ever make your way over to the beautiful University of British Columbia, Loafe is a must-visit. Located in the Alumni Centre, this university cafe is a favorite among UBC Vancouver students for its delicious food and peaceful atmosphere. If you wander through the building, you’ll be treated to soft piano music and a cozy fireplace with couches to relax on. This is one of my favorite places to catch up with friends, especially on a rainy winter day.
My favourite thing to order at Loafe is their delicious avocado toast with a London Fog for breakfast, but they’re also well known for their flavorful artisan sandwiches, making for the perfect lunch. It’s a great place to crack open that book you’ve been dying to read or to work away on your computer in peace and quiet.  Â
I would highly recommend visiting UBC and making a pit stop at Loafe. It’s only a short walk from there to Wreck and Tower Beaches across campus: the perfect places to go exploring.
