This chain of thrift stores is a massive find not only for the affordable vintage hunters. BC SPCA stands for British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, an organization taking care of homeless animals province-wide. Apart from salvation and rehabilitation, adoption and work on the legal level, they have opened a chain of vintage stores to support animals more. This location took my donated chairs that were not ok for any other shop, and after I did some necessary shopping for our new home. Two floors are full of casual clothing and shoes, vintage pieces looking valuable, accessories and ornaments, kitchen appliances and equipment, furniture, books, and vinyls. Generally, this place feels proud of all its items — the staff is enthusiastic, informal and laid back.
My cherry on the cake became the fact that I get -50% for all due to the Labour Day, for mostly new things I am happily using in my everyday life now. Thrift shopping can be so much fun!
