I learned about Trees Cafe one day when I was in a boring review meeting in my office. My manager brought an apple crumbs cheese cake to the meeting to make it less miserable. It actually worked!
I had a slice of the cheesecake. It was so creamy and crunchy. The best cheesecake I have ever had (better than the famous one in New York, IMHO!)
Trees Organic Coffee place is very close to where I live. I have passed by it many times. They have a sign saying 'Best Cheesecake in Town'. So, I was skeptical about it. Until that day!
There are quite a few Trees Cafes in different parts of Vancouver. This one is in the South Granville neighborhood. If you visit this cafe, take a walk around Granville street. You will find number of interesting places, like Chapters (Books and Gifts), Art Galleries, Stanley theater. And don't forget to enjoy a slice of the 'Best Cheesecake in Town', for real!
Spot a mural near Main Street Skytrain: an orange bottle with a trapped polar bear by Nevercrew. It highlights global warming and human greed.
