I love to read and have spent many a rainy afternoon, walking around this book store, seeing what's new and then ultimately ending up in the science fiction section trying to only bring one book home.
There are a few of these bookstores around Vancouver and they are a great alternative to the bigger "commercial" bookstores you'll find as this is an independent chain. At this particular location, the staff are knowledgeable, the inventory changes regularly and I've never not walked out without a book in hand.
If you are in need of a new and interesting book, stop by here but make sure you have time, it'll not be a quick choice. They also tend to specialize in local Canadian writers so if you are really looking for some interesting and local this is the place for you. They also have a small selection of cards, calendars and journals if you need that as well.
