As fast fashion quickly becomes a more popular term, there has been a growing shift towards owning what some would call a ‘sustainable’ wardrobe. Whether that’s your fashion goal or not, you should visit Turnabout anyway. They are a 100% consignment store for men and women, carrying nearly everything from head to toes. For a fraction of retail price, you can get an entire new look.
Every item in the store is hand-picked by one of the staff members, so you’re guaranteed to only find quality items in really good shape. Although Turnabout caters to the current season, there’s always an off-season rack of two. So, come December and you’ve booked a last-minute vacation to escape the cold, you can count on Turnabout for last minute shopping.
When you first walk in, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the sample tag up on the board. It’ll give you an idea of what the final price will be. Personally, I am always checking out their accessories and shoes, particularly the handbags. There’s just something about getting an amazing deal that excites me! And, when in doubt, remember you’re contributing to eco-friendly fashion. Bottom line is: find a location that’s convenient for you (there are 6 in total) and happy deal-finding.
